Prepare for Cold Weather - Weatherize! and save $$$ on heating bills

Protect yourself from high heating bills this winter - weatherize your home.

Use weather-stripping and expanding foam to seal leaks around doors, windows, and electrical outlets.

If you have storm windows, now is the time to install them.

Change the filters on your furnace. Call a service firm to carry out yearly maintenance. Have your ducts and venting systems properly inspected and sealed.

Remove window air conditioners, or seal them extremely well to prevent air leaks.

If you need to replace a furnace, consider a high efficiency, EnergyStar model.
