Grid-Tied
When you set up a source of power generation at your home or business, such as
solar
or
wind
, you have the option of being tied to the grid, or of being
off-grid
.
When your system is grid-tied, you retain the ability to buy energy from the grid when your own generation source is not working (ie, the sun in not shining and/or the wind is not blowing).

Work with your legislators
Are you a crazy driver? Speeding, accelerating quickly, and heavy braking can cut your mileage up to 33 percent. At today’s high gas prices, that’s more than an extra 73 cents per gallon.
