Extreme Weather

Extreme weather is one consequence of global warming. When the atmosphere warms, it becomes more volatile and less able to regulate sudden temperature changes. The result is a lot of unstable, clashing air, which often means storms. These storms can be unseasonable and very intense. One study shows that due to global warming and climate change, the Midwest will experience more frequent tornados.
