Climate Change

According to the EPA, climate change refers “to any significant change in measures of climate (such as temperature, precipitation, or wind) lasting for an extended period (decades or longer).”

As we use this phrase today, climate change refers to the phenomenon caused by global warming. Global warming is occurring because humans are producing excessive greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the form of air pollution. These emissions trap heat in the earth’s atmosphere, which in turn is warming up our climate.
