Thanks to the state's generous wind resources, Kansas can play a leading role in the nation's emerging clean energy economy.

It's just common sense. If developed responsibly and sustainably, wind power can provide greater energy independence, energy security, and economic development for rural communities.

Kansans have always used the wind to power our farms and our lives - then we got away from it for a while. Now it's time to get back.
