Take Charge Mount Hope and Haven!

Mount Hope and Haven are working with their municipal utilities and the Kansas Power Pool to take charge of their energy future!

Mount Hope and Haven are two towns whose citizens have partnered on several key programs to win the Take Charge Challenge:

1.  "Light up Haven/Mount Hope" - a CFL challenge
2.  Weatherization projects - with USDA and state Weatherization Assistance Program
3.  "PowerSmart Students" - a phantom load awareness program with students
4.  "Adjust Your Thermostat" campaign - programmable thermostat discounts with local vendors and sponsors
5.  Energy Star HVAC/appliance rebates - offered by Kansas Power Pool
